Mat Coombes
Qualified Tiler / Mature Aged Apprentice Carpenter
Licensed Tiler / Certificate II Carpentry

Mat joined the Trethowan Building team early in 2020, to undertake a mature aged apprenticeship in Carpentry. He previously ran his own business as a tiler and was well sought after for his tiling skills.

Mat is originally from Cooma, and now lives in Albury with his wife Kirstin and their two boys Cooper & Charlie.

Woodwork in high school introduced Mat to the thought of joining the construction industry and after completing High School he was offered and completed an apprenticeship as a Tiler. He brings with him many years of construction knowledge and skills to the team.

During his spare time, Mat spends his time camping, and enjoy time with his family and friends.

Aidan Baxter
Qualified Carpenter
Cert III Carpentry

Aidan recently joined the team at Trethowan Building after completing his Carpentry Apprenticeship. Aidan was born and raised here in Albury and shares his life with his partner Maddie and their dog Dexter. Away from Trethowan Building, Aidan has his own clothing line which he dedicates his spare time too.

Previously, Aidan has spent time in landscaping as part a family business, which helped feed his desire to complete a trade apprenticeship as a Carpenter, which he thoroughly enjoyed. From a young age Aidan has always know he wanted to be a Carpenter.

Aidan’s keen eye for detail shows, through his enjoyment of the fix out stage (installation of door jams, architraves, skirting and door furniture) of renovations/new builds as high-end carpentry skills are needed.
