House Additions, Alterations and Renovations $1M—$2M

The Lilydale Residence, an 1890s homestead located 45 minutes west of Albury, has undergone an extensive renovation and extension, bringing the total area to over 727m2 under roof. This project, which transformed the nearly derelict homestead into a functional and beautiful home, included the thoughtful addition of modern amenities such as an ensuite, kitchenette, office, butler’s pantry, and an open plan kitchen and dining area.

New outdoor facilities include a bathroom, washroom, a single garage, and a double carport. Throughout the renovation, great care was taken to preserve the heritage of the home. Materials that could be salvaged were reused, and new items were carefully chosen to match the quality and historical significance of the homestead.
